Exit the M6 Motorway at Junction 40
Take the first/third exit on roundabout marked Keswick A66 (heading West)
Travel approx. 1/2 mile on the A66 to the next roundabout (Rheged services)
Take the second exit marked A592 Ullswater
Travel approx. 5 miles on A592 to reach the lake shore
Turn right along the lake at this T-junction, remaining on the A592
Travel approx. 1 mile on A592 to the Watermillock sign
The Brackenrigg is on your right on the brow of the hill approx. 300 yards after the sign
Note ~ the entrance to the car park is just before the Inn
(If you go past, it's easiest to turn around by the 'phone box down the hill in another 400 yds)!
