Just a note to say that three of my colleagues and I stayed at the Brackenrigg Inn for four days while stranded by the volcanic eruptions in late April. 
Everything about our stay was wonderful.  The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff helpful and friendly.  The food was excellent and the surroundings beautiful.
